SECTION!

It's less than a month left to Prasetiya Mulya Student English Communication Competition (SECTION)!

Chosen to be the President of Integrated Communication Club (ICC), i have a privilege to create a year work-plan, and i create this SECTION. Remembering that i was a high school debater, and this kind of event (debate, speech, etc.) competition is quite famous for high schoolers and university students.

Well, in 7 years Prasetiya Mulya exists, there are not yet so many external event that have been created. But all external events that have been held, were conducted by Student Board. This time, SECTION stands as the first external event that is held by Student Activity Club (SAC) Integrated Communication Club (ICC)!

Anyway, SECTION provides five fields of competition, and all competitions are held in English.

There are debate, speech, story telling, news casting, and wall magazine. The main theme is "Art of Business", so you can imagine the whole event will be fulfilled with the taste of business.

What makes us different with other competitions?

Beside the main theme (SECTION is the first business-themed communication event/competition that's ever held!), this event also has an Awarding Night and Gala Dinner. Yes, all the participants will have to dress formal, and there will be many delicious food! The winners of this event will be announced just as the grammy winners announcement.

And I could say, the prizes are big! it's 40.000.000 rupiahs  in total. I have never seen any other kinds of competition for high school with the prizes as much as SECTION.

SECTION itself will be held in 3 days, on August 31st until September 2nd, 2012, at Prasetiya Mulya-BSD Campus. All competitions are open for all high school students through all Indonesia.

I hope this first SECTION will be a stepping stone for the next annual SECTION, and it will be expanding in the future. For the sake of ICC, Prasetiya Mulya, and all teens to be better at communicating in business. Please kindly wish my wish to be true 0:)
